Reflection

This sculpture alludes to depths of mountains and pays tribute the boarders that can line hanging scrolls. I was heavily inspired from seeing mountains done in ink to create depth. With stacking paper against one another with spacers in between allowed for the concept of depth to be perceived. As light catches the sculpture, shadows cater to the depth as well. In A Long Tale for an Autumn Night, there are figures displayed . In my piece I included a small boat and building, I allowed human life to be there without its presence. As for the bottom of the sculpture. I paid tribute to boards through iconography.
